LCS Choir Fest
Choir Fest 2027
Every two years, LCS hosts a choir festival for private Christian schools. All students have an opportunity to perform, improve their vocal ability, and sing with new friends. All attending schools have an opportunity to perform several songs individually and participate in a mass choir. Each choir fest is led by an educated, experienced conductor. The goal of LCS choir fest is to provide glory to God through music teaching and music performance. See this year’s list of songs and practice material below.
LCS Choir Fest 2027 Overview

● Date: Friday – Sunday, April 23-25, 2027
● Locations: Rehearsals and Recreation – LCS Campus (2772 Simons Drive NW, Sugarcreek, OH) | Concert – Dover High School Auditorium (520 N Walnut St, Dover, OH)
● Registration Deadline: January 8, 2027
● Cost: $40 per student | Price increases to $45 per student for enrollments after January 8
● Lodging: Lodging is not provided for this event. Each school is responsible to find their own lodging. Please reach out to LCS for local lodging suggestions
Mass Choir Conductor: Sarah Sommers
Sarah fell in love with singing at age seven, when she sang alto for the first time with her dad. She is passionate about making music fun, engaging an accessible for her students. Currently, Sarah teaches choir and musical theatre in the East Holmes Local School District, and she runs a private studio teaching voice, piano, and violin. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Choral Music Education from the University of Akron, and she is Level Three certified in the Suzuki Violin School.
When she’s not teaching, Sarah enjoys reading a good book on the beach or in a hammock, baking, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
Registration Instructions
Please download the registration form. The teacher/chaperone should fill out the correct information in both the student and chaperone tabs of the form and email the completed form to choir.fest@legacychristian.school. A total cost will display at the top of the student registration form. This total can be paid via check or cash at the beginning of the Choir Fest event. Due to limited space, application does not equal the ability to attend. Choirs are accepted on a first come, first served and prior participation basis.
